Tp-Link had several devices at CES2021 that never materialized. They were supposed to be coming out with a 3 way dimmer (ks230) and motion sensors. Still waiting.

Nice deal for those needing a single.

Do you have a link to the Costco 2-pk? I can't seem to find it.
EDIT: Seems OP was just referencing an old/expired deal that was popular.

Are your recessed lights the can type where you install your own bulbs or do the fixtures have the LEDs built in? Depending on your situation, this dimmer may or may not fix your problem.

If it's the former, it may be due to the bulb you are using. I had a similar issue where my bulbs were the problem and switching them out with a different brand fixed the issue.

If it's the latter, it could be the LEDs themselves, the wiring, or voltage in the house. I have that problem in my bathroom and the electrician told me my house gets voltage drops regularly, which may have been causing my flickering issues.

They are/were made by Feit Electric they work fine with the app. They suck when it comes to pairing with Alexa. Used to work, then Amazon updated something and that broke connectivity. Feit Electric hasn't updated their software so it no longer works with Alexa.

Make sure your switch is compatible with LED. Older switches cause problems.

When are they coming out with the 3 way dimmer switch already??? We've waited long enough Kasa!!!

And if it functions as their previous 3 way switch, maybe we'll only need 1 out of the 2 for it to work

Holy crap, you made my day. I haven't kept up it appears

Edit: just briefly read reviews, looks like they may have some firmware issues that may or may not have been resolved. I'll wait it out a little bit

i installed the fixtures that have LED built in. half of them work fine in my bedroom where i did 4 lights in 1 switch and 2 on the other.

the living room i did all 6 on switch which happens to have a dimmer already. i'm hoping switching out the dimmer may help. plan b switch out the LED. plan c buy a new house haha

i actually switched a few light fixtures in my other rooms to LED as well but it flickers when i am dimming it. the living room just flicker initially when it just turns on then works fine after that. think i may be leaning towards the voltage issue. were you able to find any other solution or did you just live with it?

LED lights require LED rated dimmer switches. Have you switched the dimmer switches to LED rated dimmer switches?

I have one of these and sometimes I feel like it goes to sleep. The lights are off and I push it and nothing. Wait a few seconds and push it again and they come on.

But it always works with my phone Confused.

Good price.

These are great - I have them integrated with smartthings; very happy because unlike all the various bulbs, they don't drop off and they do come on/off when triggered. The price seems to be at least a temporary normal as I bought one in mid November for the same price.

Sound like you need to change the setting for turning on and off to fast or off. it only works on the physical switch.
