Ever since the Wii e-shop shut down, I've mainly bought physical copies of my games. I had probably 40 games purchased on the Wii (some Wii games and some virtual console) but I wasn't able to have them all downloaded at the time because I didn't have enough HDD space for them all so I ended up losing some. I feel like the Wii U will be next up for a shop shutdown and then the 3DS (they will stop accepting payment on the 3DS eshop soon).

Anyway, this is a good deal for those who want it. Digital has its benefits for sure but I personally prefer physical copies. Smilie

This game is not nearly as good as the last version of Mario Party. My kids got bored with it within a few days.

Resale value means nothing if you're not gonna sell later.

Why do you think they got bored?

Not true. Some people have physical cards but still they never sell it because they have emotional value to it.

Correction: resale value; not sentimental value.

There aren't as many options in this game as the previous one, just a few boards they play on. The points you accrue to purchase useless items do not keep them engaged.

The last version had different types of games you could play that changed it up

Just don't lend to shady people.

And I guess some people feel different. I beat Mario odyssey 100%, and never touched it again. I was able to sell it for $50 and used it towards another game. You can't do that with digital.
Hard to touch it again when you sell it. My son routinely will revisit old games cause it's so easy to flip through 50 games when they are on card and don't need to flip out cartridges.

Where do you see this to pricematch. The price in the Walmart app still says 59.99
