I purchased the 3060 variant and temps are fine, mild fan noise. But buds or muffs handles that just fine. Just like turning up the radio when you wanna ignore that engine problem for another month lol.
3080 but only 8GB? Wonder if it's significantly different from 3070 at that point. Test scores say yes but not a ton different.

Laptop 3080 is more like a 3070ti since it's only 15-20% faster. Also the YE Alder Lake version with 3080ti leaked back a few months ago. It's all ready to go just need to get rid of current trash.
Ok, I bought this from the last sale. And can confirm it is a running awesome. No, it does not run hot like people say, at least mine doesn't. Unless you actually have it, I wouldn't put to much weight in that opinion. People hate the RGB LIGHTS , but the lighting system will change based on the profile that the AI switches to. To fix this it's simple, just change the settings in the AI profile. For the price and specs it's hard to beat. Overall, pretty solid.

This does not have an OLED version in the first place. What you have it Gigabyte Aero 15 OLED series which is a different series and mainly targeted towards professionals and Content Creators with a second preference to gaming. The Design and internal thermal designs are quite different in both models.
