Great game. With the portability facto on switch, this is a good buy. Look at reviews and gameplay online. Some people just want cheap stuff...

I'm not saying it was a bad game in any way but just not for me however here are some of the things I found painful about it:
-weapon durability; I have no problem with weapons that degrade over time but that rate was just silly.
-crafting; why did there seem to be no recipe system or a way to save combinations of ingredients?
‐exploring; blind wondering and climbing until you accidentally stumble across the needed area or item. I'm not asking a game to hold my hand but I also don't want to spend hours aimlessly trekking back and forth.
-puzzles; move block A to space B.
‐the almost complete lack of Zelda like action.

You unlock/find blueprints for crafting. One of the most under appreciated component of this game is the co-op mode. It is fantastic. You can join someone else's campaign and assist with their story or vice versa. This is useful to play with someone that has high ranking in Nightmare mode. Your experience points build up faster that way. There is also a mode that lets you become a Zombie and crash other player's games during the night.

I also always note, I have found the community on Steam to be the nicest of any multiplayer groups I have came across. It is common to have players jump into your game just to load you up with incredible weapons and perks. That is how I maxed out my ranking.

Buy from Gamestop if you want to continue to see physical releases. Buy from Amazon if you support monopolies.

I think you misunderstood my post, I was speaking about what I did not like about Zelda BoTW, we got a little side tracked Wink

Oddly you do not realize that GameStop is a monopoly in the video game world (especially for used / trades) yet Amazon is one of countless big box retailers. You could live your life not shopping at Amazon without missing a beat or making any compromises but if you want to buy or sell a used game from a company then GS is your only option in 90% of American cities and 100% of towns. For example, I live in a metropolitan area with a little over 2 million people. Within this area are 20 GameStops and 2 independent video game stores. The 2 independent stores focus mainly on older and collectable games and DnD type stuff so I'm not even sure you could consider them a direct competitor to GS.

The big difference though is that GameStop is a company struggling to stay afloat and without them, publishers would have less reason to make physical copies. Amazon on the other hand is thriving to the point where they sell products at a loss to put the little guys out of business.

Amazon, ebay, best buy, facebook marketplace, and a ton of other shops deal in trades/used. Gamestop is, by far, no monopoly. The vast number of used games being sold at decent prices on facebook marketplace alone could double Gamestop's inventory.

Y'all arguing moot points, GameStop is an obsolete monopoly, getting eaten up by bigger monopolies.. At the end of the day, if you're not supporting your local mom & pop shops (if they are even still in business), we are all just feeding the Beast..

Yes open box returns and ebay like listings. Not the same thing by any stretch of the imagination. "Dear Mr. Best Buy, will you take these 7 used Xbox One games and give me store credit against a console that will be released in 3 months?"

Name a comparable store with a nationwide footprint and similar market share. Bonus points for offering direct competition against GameStop. I'll wait. (you do know what a "monopoly is...right?)

So FB's version of craigslist is your direct competition? LOL.... "Hey mom, Southern Bell doesn't have a monopoly because Joe down the street has a shortwave radio." BTW, The same FB market place where almost every ad is a scam or someone trying to rob you? Yeah..keep trying Wink

Ugh I just bought this for $35 on Amazon, I wonder if I could get a credit back or just return it and buy it again. $5 is $5 lol

Also, gamestop is still requiring masks in their stores here in socal. So if they feel they're making enough money without wanting mine, so be it. I'll take my business elsewhere
Mask requirement is not their fault, it's 100% our Dictator Governor, Mr. Mandate..

Maybe a year ago, but at this point it's dealer choice. If you let an idiot who doesn't even listen to himself tell you what to do, you deserve all the baggage that comes with it. It would make way more sense for a multi billion dollar company like gamestop to stand up and say "no" to stupidity then me as a single person. Private company can do what it wants, but so can I.

some of you guys are so annoying. Wearing a mask for 5 minutes inside a small crowded video game store is what gets you all fired up? Wow
