I was in store checking these out and it's very sturdy feeling, looks very well built. However, there are some big caveats, as this uses a non-standard peg system, so your run of the mill J-hooks or accessories won't work with this system, and the J-hooks designed to work with the pegs can be bumped out of place relatively easily from underneath. The spotter arms aren't included either, which for such a stout rack, seems like a weird omission.

Otherwise it's a good deal if the peg system doesn't bother you, and you don't mind adding more for the arms.

Ethos is a quality brand. Had their squat rack and didn't have much to complain about.

Good deal. I was looking for this all winter but they were hella-expensive.
Even contemplated making my own based on the design out of 4x4.
The $99 spotters are a bit expensive tho.

Saves at least $1k compared to the PRX folding rack. I'll take it. I think PRX are leaders in quality folding racks and theirs are a bit easier to put away, but I rather save the cost difference and take a few extra steps to fold the rack. Thanks!!

Also, something to think about. PRX and rogue folding racks have much more add-on options in comparison. The build quality is also a bit better. I may cancel my order and cough up a few extra hundreds for the Rogue.

Not comparatively when you look at other brands. Add it all up and you end up with the rack, stringer, and spotter arms for $350. Still much less expensive than the Rogue or PRX. Which are great too, btw, but at this price, I can deal with some smaller inconveniences.

I wish this had some more add ons, but I was able to purchase portable pulleys and stuff from Spud Inc to compensate for lack of accessory attachments. It's not bad. Overall I'm really happy with the rack. I probably would've liked the PRX better, but saving hundreds makes me happy too hahahaha

FYI - there's a 10% discount online when you sign up with email or mobile number but wouldn't apply when checking out. I just picked up and asked them to apply and the manager entered the discount

Something to be aware of. I bought the Rogue version of this rack and didn't take into account the slant in the garage foundation. If you are not mounting on an even surface just be aware. Same for adding horse stall mats after the fact, make sure you leave clearance, or install the mats first. Luckily it still worked for me but was a fraction of an inch away from having to remount it.

The spotter arms made for this rack are rated for 600 pounds. 405+ should be no problem.
