I quit eBay after I sold a drone on there and the buyer took the pieces he needed off of it and returned it. eBay sided with him and I even had to pay for the return shipping.

I guess eBay needs to make those last minute sales goals before the year is up because literally it took all year long to get anything over 5%

I sold an around this time last year. Due to pandemic and logistic issue, the item arrived later than the time window set by eBay. The buyer opened an item not received claim the first day after the time window to get the money back and of course the item arrived later. It was not my first experience dealing with buyer abusing eBay's policy. Since then never touched eBay.

If I didn't have eBay gift cards I would forgotten what eBay is by now.
P.S. I wonder if anyone took eBay to court for their gift card policy changes.

All these new restrictions should not apply to gift card purchased before policies were enacted

Gone are they days of $20 off and $15 off a $75 purchase. Plus it was common for people to get 10&~15% eBucks deals.
Now.... 8% is a great deal to me.

NOTHING, none of my accounts are eligible. They used to give these multiple times a year, then they rarely do it and that too in very limited accounts. Hence, I am spending less and less on eBay these days especially for large purchases. Because without these discounts, many other retailers are better option than eBay especially for warranty related issues. On top of that, eBay bucks enrollment is also closed for new accounts. What a shame.
