I purchased two copies last week and activated them for a total of $35.70. The deal is still available. Use discount code DEC15 to drop price from the $21 quoted.
The website sent activation codes instantly by email and a link to microsoft.com/redeem.

OP here, I bought using Paypal so I have Paypal purchase protection and my CC protection active. I've activated both licenses already and no issues in the last week. Trustpilot reviews look okay: https://www.trustpilot.com/review...ftware.com

sounds like the question is not if, but when Microsoft invalidates the product key's. If you get a year out of it, then you probably will have gotten a good deal.
You should not expect legit MS Office at this price unless it's the one that's EOL such as 2010.
These basically came from unknown source mostly by abusing OEM/volume license.

Note first - this site, PlazaSoftware, claims to be an "Authorized Microsoft Partner (6021121)" so they might be legit. I haven't confirmed this. However if they are not authorized, read below.
Most of sites, those without Microsoft authorization, sold are stolen MSDN keys, sourced from irresponsible company IT admin. Some of them is done on a scale by cheating certain Microsoft programs like BizSpark.
That is to say, the keys will be real, but you don't really own it. A few months down the road your key might just disappear and you cannot activate it again. Even when you are reinstalling or moving the software to another computer, which is totally legit.
There are other ways to grab a key for cheap and resell for a gain, which might allow the key to exist for longer. But after all unless it is from an authorized reseller, it is quite likely pirated key.
But surely this is only about the key. The software will be the same as long as you download from a trusted source.

i like the old versions of ms office. MS added a bunch of bells and whistles to office 365 and then charged an arm and a leg for it

Also is it one machine or multiple machine code
Tons of these sort of options out there. Not really on the up and up.
Will it work, yes.
Will you ever get in trouble? Probably not.
But MS could disable your sketch license anytime.
These were probably part of a large corporate volume license that's being resold against the terms of license agreement
