If you live in the US, try them out at a Best Buy since everyone's hands are different. I have small hands and the Basilisk is more comfortable for me.
Basilisk - more pronounced hump near the back to fill your palm. Logitech - evenly rounded hump.
Basilisk - wider contouring for your ring and pinky fingers. Logitech - slimmer contouring so you need end up gripping more tightly.
Basilisk - thumb button is more forward so harder to reach. Logitech - thumb button is closer so easier to reach.

Have this for my gaming desktop and my work pc. Love it. I dont like using the razer software with it though. I setup with razer software then just uninstall the software.
I would recommend bestbuy with a geeksquad warranty so you can get your money back after 2 or whatever years and buy another mouse.
I just purchased this last week, still haven't received it but I was torn between this and the Logitech G502. Watched a bunch of reviews and coming from a Razer mouse already I thought this one was probably the way to go. Anyone have experience of both?

Yes, I'm a little sick of the razer QC and just got the g502. Still in the honeymoon phase but I like the one click dpi shift on the Logitech and the free spinning mouse wheel.
Intermittent left and right click functionality after moderate use for 6 months with razer and this isn't my first issue with their products inside the warranty period. Trying to get a warranty repair since I didn't get an aftermarket warranty 🤦 ♂️
Rtings, says the basilisk is better from their tests. As someone already mentioned, make sure you get the geek squad warranty if you go through Best Buy or something comparable.

But credit cards these days offer 2 year warranty too? Is geek squad warranty better?
Been using this mouse for about 10 months. Love it. It's one of the few mice that have adjustable scroll wheel tension. Underneath the mouse is a small wheel that adjusts it. Goes from no detents at all free spinning to solid ca-chunk detents. Love it.
I've got no huge issues with the software. Sure, there's a few things I'd like to see changed/fixed, but it certainly does the job. You can program any mouse button to do anything you want and you can save them to a "profile" which can automatically change when you load a selected program. Example: You start up a Steam game, the mouse loads your profile for that game. Does it all in the background. Seamless. If the automatic loading isn't your cup of tea, there's a button underneath the mouse you can hit to switch between profiles too.
Obviously it has custom lighting. But what I thought was cool was that it has effect lighting for a lot of games. So if a specific event happens in game, the lighting changes to reflect that. Example: Timer for the round is about to end, the mouse lighting flashes. Example: You die, the mouse lighting glows bright red. Etc etc etc. Depends on the game you're playing, obviously.
Obviously you can fully adjust the DPI presets to your liking and change them on the fly with the small buttons just below the scroll wheel. Works very well.

I have both and i like the feel of the razer better the wire is my only gripe with the razer wants to curl itself up and the braiding is looser than on the g502. Clicks feel faster and quieter than the g502. The only advantage the g502 has is the endless scroll function which razer doesn't have.
I use a regular ergonomic mouse due to Carpal tunnel syndrome and I've never used a gaming mouse. Is a gaming mouse really worth it for long hours in front of the computer? Also, is this ergonomic?

Yes. G502 is way better than this one.
