I would tell them to make it more profitable, they should charge $200 for Sim card, and maybe consider charge customer another $100 process fee.
What do you mean? Is the $20 activation and $20 SIM card fee not correct?

Couple Questions:

a) does $25 include fees and taxes
b) how long does porting process takes?
c) anyone switching from HelloMobile?
d) is samsung a32 really free?

Thank you
The fine print states: "Samsung Galaxy A32 5G & Motorola moto g stylus 5G require qual. trade-in." So the phone is not really free, unless you have a qualifying trade in. The fine print does not list qualifying phones. It looks like you need to go to a local store to get more information.

I found more fine print which makes it appear that the $25 a month special is only for BYOD, and thus does not combine with the free phone special:

"After 24 months, $25 plan price may increase. $25/month for 1-line of unlimited smartphone data (tethering not included); unlimited while on-network. Requires qualifying port-in, BYOD & ID validation. Excludes phone numbers currently on T‑Mobile or active on Metro in past 180 days. Tax due at point-of-sale on pre-rebate price. Check BYOD compatibility here. Other terms: If congested, heavy data users (>35GB/mo.) may notice lower speeds & Metro customers may notice lower speeds vs. T‑Mobile, due to data prioritization. Video streaming at 480p. See metrobyt-mobile.com for details."

You don't get everything for the cheap price.🤷 Makes sense to me.
Visible would like a word with metro. I've been paying $25/month with unlimited tethering on verizon's network. says only 5MBPS for tethering but somehow mine has been punching way above that.

Sorry for the newbie question here but how do you get that $25/month through visible? Any additional activation or SIM card fees? I was going to go to metro to do this deal tomorrow but sounds like Visible might be the way to go

Aren't you deprioritized with Visible? Versus this where you're more directly on the t-mobile network? Sorry, newbie here when it comes to these plans.
Visible and Metro are very similar. Verizon owns Visible, just like T-Mobile owns Metro. I assume both de-prioritize.

You can get the $25 plan with a free Samsung A32, Moto G Stylus, or Moto One Ace with a trade-in. The trade-in value can be $0 so a crappy Android or even a flip phone will work. I just did this on Monday at a corporate store. However, I believe you have to port a non-tmobile number for the free phone deal. If you go through this route, I would first have the rep pull up the promo list and check what's available.

Metro still makes you contact them and pay a fee whenever you switch phones. They lock your sim to whatever phone you activate on their network.
I changed from a Fold 3 to a Note 20 without contacting anyone.

I got this $25 promo in August. I assume it's the same thing since they had it on their website for long time. I remember in fine print, If you bring your own phone, price is locked as long as you keep the account. If you get a free phone, price is locked for 2 years.
Nope, 24 months regardless. After that it's $50 a month.

Is this better than ATT Prepaid assuming just on data speed?
My att is kind of spotty or slow in certain areas so how well does Metro do?
If u think AT&T is spotty just wait till your on TMobile lines. I just quit TMobile. I was getting connected at work at just 1 megabyte. I joined red pocket mobile a at&t mvno and now get 23mgbt. At home I'm getting over 60 mgbt and I just have a 4g phone.

LOL, how could they call it is an offer even a limited time offer? Join Visible mobile party, always get $25 per month unlimited everything, and Verizon's networking coverage/quality is better than TMO.

Totally agree. Their dealer stores rip you off with too many taxes, fees, unwanted device protection plans etc, and the moment anybody park near their corporate store, immediately the store security comes on to check you up and he will be standing behind you until you leave the store and their store workers are not friendly at all with take it or leave attitude. Metro's whole store experience makes you look like a thief and unwelcoming.
Bought countless phones from Metro never once had this experience

Visible is deprioritized service and they have no customer service and they were recently hacked. Absolute garbage service.
