If the price isn't showing in your area, select Montgomeryville (19446) as your store, and choose ship to home.

This saw is LSA eligible. The new Ridgid R4550 (the replacement for this R4514) is 5 years. If you want a saw with that precious LSA, now's the time.

Ridgid warranty and LSA T&C linky:

Great deal! I have this saw and it works very well for my amateur woodworking projects. The stand is very convenient. My only gripe so far is that my fence has a little bump on it that throws me off by 1/32" if I'm not careful. I may have to file it off or make my own fence. I got it after BF two years ago for this price, and this is the first time I've seen it this low since.

What material is the throat plate made from? The plate on the Skil is very flexible plastic. On the Metabo it's cast aluminum and very sturdy. What's the deal on the Ridgid?

Had three of these during black Friday week and returned them all because I couldn't get them tuned. Went with the dewalt and haven't looked back. If you purchase this one make sure you set everything up before your return window closes.

Thanks. I have been keeping an eye on these knowing they'd be coming down further from their Black Friday "sale" since my store in Minneapolis went from just one or two in stock to about thirty. Still had 18 as of early last week. These are too big to consume that much store space.
Now waiting on the sliding mitre saw which still has 36 in store.

I have not used this model but used it's predecessor and it worked great for my needs and storage.

Was thinking of getting this table saw , but this saw has some really mixed reviews on Home depot website.

With the R4550 just recently released, I'm sure the price for this model will be in liquidation from now on!!

Word is the LSA isn't going away for Ridgid. Confusing, but two different companies under one brand. The new saw you mention is not made by the typical manufacturer of the previous models - THEY are the ones that offer the LSA (TTI?). The company that makes some of the new stuff for the Ridgid brand is 5 years for warranty. They may actually be better made, but too early to tell. Most still offer no more than a 3 year though.

Edit, Delta is the company contracted for some of the new Ridgid stuff.

Most Ridgid tools have the LSA and will continue to do so.

It is only the Ridgid NEXT [homedepot.com] line of stationary/benchtop tools that don't.

Thank you, OP. I've been keeping an eye on any deal on Ridgid table saws. I'm very tempted to pull the trigger on this with the ship to home option.

I have to to convince myself I can put it to good use though. I'm only a home owner who tries to make things work, fixes things up. My miter saw, circular saw, and JobM multi tools seem to be sufficient to get the jobs done.

Plus this thing is taking up a chunk of real estate in my tiny garage in SoCal. And, safety is always my major concern.

Buy now, think later?

I've had one of these for a couple years. I had issues getting and keeping the fence square, now I use a carpenter's square to try to force it square. Not ideal but works for now. I still had issues after that and found the riving knife wasn't aligned with the blade. Removed the riving knife and now the cuts go much more smoothly. Obviously a bad plan from a safety standpoint but has made the saw more usable. I measure for every cut,, but would love something with a fence that locked square every time. Just not sure that's available in this price range
