Reading glasses are slightly different, and are usually specifically specified as being reading glasses because they need to be manufactured slightly differently. The pupillary distance for reading glasses is usually about a net 2-3 mm smaller because when you're looking at things up close your eyes turn inwards so that can see and focus on objects clearly without double vision. To compensate for this natural change in perspective the PD is intentionally set closer so that you can line up with your offset pupils and give the clearest vision. A premium optical manufacturer will also slightly cant the lenses themselves a little bit inward during the manufacturing process so that the lenses are also directionally pointed towards convergence at a specific focal length, usually about arms length.
The other possibility is that,if you're wearing distance glasses and looking at things up close, you might actually need to get some reading glasses to take the strain off your eyes.
My suggestion would be for you to go to an optometrist and have them measure your PD, and then have them verify the PD on the glasses. The same tools that can help them index and find the prescription on a pair of lenses can also be used to measure the PD.
Hope that helps. 👍

1. The blue filter doesn't really do much, my daily drivers are now 2 pairs of firmoo glasses, one with the filter, one without and I really don't feel any difference other than the tint of course. some more premium filters make the reflections worse by adding different color glows around light sources
2. The frame and lens shape matter - the exact same prescription but in a different frame makes a huge difference. I found the larger frames like aviator style make me dizzy but 'regular' thin frame ones don't
3. The lens index does make a difference, same prescription with different index can cause a difference in dizziness, go with the standard if your prescription is not huge, higher index will distort the image giving you a weird effect
4. There are many websites to choose from, I bought from Zenni, eye buy direct, goggles4u and firmoo, firmoos are my favorite followed by Zenni and then EBD and goggles4u, these last 2 are making me feel dizzy even if I picked the exact same variables as the other companies, not sure what's up with that
5. make sure that you get at least the anti reflection coating, otherwise you will see your own eyes reflected in the lenses making them completely unusable

Excellent customer service as well, got delivered a damaged pair once and they replaced very quickly.
Less of deal after you deal with their lack of size/search functionality! Still a deal though.

No tracking number or anything, so just a waiting game.
Luckily I'm not in a rush, but would not buy if you need a pair anytime soon.
goggles4u has been running near-daily coupons for 50/60/70% off over the last 6 months. It seems to me like they've also raised their nominal prices correspondingly, but with the coupon, it's about what they used to charge + inflation. Overall, under $15 is a good price for a decent pair of glasses.
That said, if you've got anything other than a basic prescription, such as bifocals/progressives or a strong prescription, then you're probably better off going to costco instead.
