I've have both and I liked the ryobi a bit better as it is a bit smaller and fires quicker. Used it for years and fired thousands of nails through it. Started to jam up more as it got older.
The Dewalt seems to have better nail depth control and a little less recoil if you can call it that. However it has to spool up so it feels slower to use to me. I switched because I have Dewalt everything else and didn't want to keep an extra charger battery set.
That said if it wasn't for the convenience I would have kept the ryobi.

Perfect timing. Been waiting for this to come up for sale. Moving into a house in a month and expecting some projects. Now just need their table saw and router to come up.
What are the most advantages of the this Dewalt vs Ryobi P320?
I'm using Ryobi for years and happy with it so far. For double price after deep discount, I'm curious that what make you guy think this nailer is worth the price of $300 and $200 now?

Thank you for your sharing. I invest on both Dewalt and Ryobi systems. So I'm gonna keep the Ryobi nailer for now.

Like most tools, depends on what brand you're already invested in. The ryobi is a great tool and better bang for your buck. Those who aren't exclusive to dewalt or have ryobi batteries would be better with the ryobi. If your entire workspace is yellow and black it makes sense to go with this.

I bought a dewalt pankcake compressor and 18 gauge brad nailer combo for $189. I haven't used it yet, so I could return if this is a better deal.
What would the advantage be to purchase this over that? (I already have plenty of batteries)
I want to add a few more nail guns, so pneumatic nail guns would be economical over electric nail guns, right?
it comes down to the portability - if you need to shoot 5 brads somewhere, you want the battery powered one, if your going to be putting in 100 brads in one space, the air compressor is going to be more responsive, and be ready for shot 2,3,4 etc much faster
Second thing is cost.
if your going to want a finish nailer, or a framing nailer down the road. Battery powered for each of those is going to be at least $100 more then pneumatic.
