The last few times I have tried to order gift cards from Kroger, they cancelled it right away claiming there was a problem with my credit card. Which wasn't true since the temporary authorization posted fine on my credit card. Any suggestions?

Here is a suggestion that will not work for everyone. For the last year or so I have been using the prepaid Visa cards from Staples when they go on sale for No Activation Fee. I also register them online with the website on back of the cards with info that is supposed to make web purchases easier. Perhaps it matches addresses or names at checkout to prevent fraud.
I think the company that runs the gift card site for the Kroger cards and the pre-paid Visa cards is the same and the transactions have been going thru without a hitch. A drawback is that the pre-paid cards are each only $200, so multiple orders may be needed. But as we know, most of the time with the13% discount you can only purchase one of each denomination anyway, which also requires multiple orders.

Yes, I buy the prepaid gift cards but you have to be very careful when using them online. Unlike a credit card, they do not have your back if you ever need to do a chargeback or have an unauthorized charge on it. I had this once where I ordered something from a major company and never got it and they refused to refund my money and tried to do a chargeback and the company running the prepaid gift cards (Blackhawk Network) refused to refund me.
THUMBS UP, slick deal. Question for the community. I have a cricket grandfathered 5/$100 plan. Need to change a sim card, not the number. What is the best way, I dont want to risk any loss of plan? Thank you

Buy the SIM card and swap it into the phone. Chat with Cricket support online and say you need to update the IMEI number for a particular phone number. I've done this before, it doesn't affect your grandfathered plan.

Thank you. I will be changing the phone also. I hope that does not confuse them.

Shouldn't be a problem; my SIM card swap was with a new phone also. If you get a new phone without needing to change SIM cards you should be able to just pop it in and not even need to contact cricket.

A $25 plan is a flat rate with these prepaid cards unlike if you pay by CC?
