The 3AAA batteries kills it for me. Would rather pay a little more for a good rechargeable as regular batteries always seem to die pretty quickly - and are always weak or dead (corroding) when you need the flashlight. I do have a couple of the small battery operated LED lights that I got when Harbor Freight coupons made them free. The small ones' batteries seem to last better.

seriously screw AAA battery devices, either make em all AA or li-ion of some kind
