I love this stand. I've had it for two years with a Ryobi miter saw on it. It's been over all kinds of terrain and has never made me feel like it wasn't capable of offroading.

I got this stand from DTO last month. It arrived damaged because they threw it in a huge box with no protection. DTO tells me replacement parts are out of stock / unavailable. Be prepared to do some of your own metal fabrication if your stand arrives broken.

I love this stand. I've had it for two years with a Ryobi miter saw on it. It's been over all kinds of terrain and has never made me feel like it wasn't capable of offroading.

I would not buy the Bosch gravity stand over this, especially at this price

Yup same here - tubing on the stand was bent so the handle wouldn't go in. I didn't want to go through the hassle of sending it back - the box is big and heavy - so I ended up unbending the tubes and making it work.

That's exactly what happened to mine. Ends of frame tubing smashed so the "foot/base" part would not go it. They could add a little protection to the tube ends for shipping to prevent this but they don't seem to care. I bought a miter saw from DTO at the same time and they also threw it in a huge box unprotected. It won't get exactly square, no idea if it was made that way or something got bent in shipping.

For what it's worth, that seems to be the case with their used or reconditioned parts. The bench sander I bought had multiple plastic pieces broken on arrival, but this stand should be in the original packaging since its the "factory blemished" which is basically new.

Agreed I love the stand too bought it a few years ago. Just understand it's big and heavy. But if you use it a lot it's a great stand.

Easily the best miter stand I've ever used. Takes almost no effort to setup and collapse down again. The only thing I don't care for are the plastic locks that are on the tubes that extend out to support the material on either side. They haven't given me any trouble yet but feel pretty delicate.

Bought it from Home Depot last year for this price. The first box came damaged as it ships in its box, with thin cardboard. Parts were missing, so I had to take it back, and get a second one shipped. Put together it's solid and makes working with my saw so much easier. That said it does take up a decent amount of space in your garage especially if you leave the saw on like I do. I highly recommend, but make sure you get it from someone with a good return policy. This place charges for shipping, so this is NOT a great deal, just so so.
