these were posted for about $3 on past front page deal. you may want to check out the reviews and feedback from that thread. while some liked these, some ended up returning even at that price so see if these fit your needs.

NEVER use a smart device of any type on a dimmer switch unless the product specifically says it is compatible with an external dimmer switch. These bulbs are not designed to be used this way. They are only meant to be dimmed by app or smart home control APIs. Even with the switch turned to "maximum", the voltage is usually just barely below that of a direct connection and you can damage your electronics and also get side-effects like the buzzing you mentioned.

As in other posts, make sure you use the correct app. The one in the paperwork with the bulbs doesn't work. The other "Sylvania Smart Home will update your bulbs and connect just fine.

Yea I'm one of those bought from last deal and returned it cuz it didn't fit my needs

Waste of money, I bought a couple from the last deal and they are pretty terrible…….buggy app, half of the light bulbs buzz's on dimmer switch, might get half that work with apple HomeKit and half that don't.
