What is the store number?
Edit: Nevermind, idk how to delete a comment. I thought this was home depot
If it makes you feel better, I couldn't find a product at lowes and it wasn't in the aisle the app said and so I asked for help and the guy was like uhhhh that's the Home Depot app…
Great question - this 12 inch combo square (model TC132) was designed in the US, and is manufactured at our factory in China. That's the same for all of our combo squares (models TC130, TC131, TC132, TC134, and SVC133). By Swanson Product Expert

Not positive, but when out of stock, I think all stores show retail.
If the option for delivery is still showing and you had a $45 order, you could hunt around for in stock at $3 and have delivered. It is usually not difficult for me to put together a $45 order, but I understand if you only want the one item.
Saw these on the shelf at Lowes the other day. They are every bit as good as you'd expect a $2 carpenter's square to be. Don't buy one; the two dollar bills you save buy not buying it are more effective straight edges.

Not the right brand there, us?
What if it was one of the many Milwaukee or Stanley hand tools made in (shudder) China?
Or did you take your precision Starrett engineer's square into the store to confirm this Swanson combination square was 0.001" out?

For $3, the 16-in x 24-in Aluminum Square is maybe the best deal of all ---they don't rust.
Edit: they just called to let me know it's out of stock and they are canceling my order
