In order to swap cards and avoid re downloading all your games:

1. POWER OFF the switch (not sleep mode, all the way off)
2. Remove SD card, pop in new one
3. Boot system and format SD card
4. Power off again and remove
5. USING A PC, copy all the files from the old SD card to the new one
6. Put new SD into Switch and power on

SD card is worth about $20. Seems like a good deal.

For a single user, it's an alright deal if you need the SD card. $20 is the standard price for an individual online membership so the card would cost $15. Family plan is meant for sharing so you could add on a few folks to take advantage of your online membership and even charge them a few bucks like another SDer suggested.

This doesn't include the expansion pack upgrade which is a separate cost. The upgrade gives you access to all game expansion packs for free in addition to official Sega and N64 emulators.

I had been waiting for that the last two months but it doesn't look like it. Anything is possible tho.
That deal wasn't posted until Jan 20, so there's still a chance, I guess. I got that last year and have been on the lookout for a repeat as well. This is better than nothing, but I do not have need of the SD card.

Anyone else getting their order cancelled because "couldn't verify info"? I have an established Best Buy account with total tech and I've now had this order cancelled 2 times in a row.

Since the SD card is "free", no sales in California.
I live in California and I can verify that you can order this with the free memory card. My confirmation email shows the memory card will be shipped for free.
Update: I received the memory card in the mail today.

Thanks OP! Was gifted a Switch for Xmas so I signed up. This is still a better deal with the free memory card even if it's just me on the family plan. I think my gf's individual plan is almost up so I'll add her on once it expires hopefully to make this a better deal for me.

If you have a Best Buy credit card, use code "dec22ccsave10" to take off $3.50 - making the total 31.49

It let me stack 2 codes onto my existing membership. I think that is the max.
