Fwiw, I have this case. It was pretty easy to build in and looks great. No serious complaints.

I am too lazy now, but I used to do a ton of rebates over the years. I got all except one when the manufacturer went under. The retailer then gave me a store credit.

1. Check that your submission was successful. Print that.

2.Keep a copy of EVERYTHING, submission, offer, UPC etc, stapled together in a folder, If it says 8-10 weeks, write the 10 week date on the copy corner. That is the day you contact them about where the rebate is, if not received yet. If the rebate is substantial, you want to send the mail with proof of delivery.

Rebates are great for the retailer/manufacturer since a large number of people never submit them but in their mind got a deal. Of the ones that do submit, some people mess up and/or don't fix an error or additional info if requested.

You may have to bug a sleazy outfit but that is pretty rare. They already do great with so many not submitting in the first place.

Good price for those who need it now. However, it was $40 (AR) last August. So it's likely to go that low again, but who knows when.

does anyone ever get newegg rebates? I basically gave up after a few meticulously submitted rounds were outright rejected.

Core inflation is around 5%

If anything this case can still go lower.. maybe $45-50 instead of $40 if were were gauging price increases from supply chains.

Applied for 3 4 months ago and got all 3 relatively easy. Followed instructions and didn't need to do any follow up.

All 3 rebates were shipped to same address, just different first line

Does the front USB-A and USB-C use the same port on the motherboard? I only have 1 port on my mobo and would like to use both ports

FWIW I've got its big brother, the 5000, and there's one cable for USB-C using the Asus type USB-C Gen 2 port on the motherboard, & 2 [stiff] cables attached to one plug for USB 3 [gen 1].

Also FWIW, Woot had been running specials on the 5000D it seemed like forever, at $99 & $86 for open box. They ran the 4000 a few times but sorry, don't recall the price. Note that I got 3 cases shipped by Amazon using their in-house shipping, & all 3 were damaged [one was destroyed]. I kept the least damaged one, & Corsair sent me a new side panel for free.

Case is easy to build on. Glass is heavily tinted. You can even buy new front "airflow" cover when in stock on corsair website.

I have the airflow version with the front mesh, it's a pretty good case, the cable routing is nice. It's pretty roomy, using a top mount h-100 and 6 ql 120s.

I'm shocked 15 people havent come in here whining about airflow.
