Seems like a good deal to me. We just got a similar one at Micro Center this weekend with a larger 15.6" screen, half the RAM, and half the SSD space for $450. Some locations may have the IdeaPad 3i for $400, but those sold out first. I created a separate forum post for that in-store deal.

Looks like it's 300 nits from Lenovo's website.

You are correct, sir. I'll go and edit/delete my post. The model I got from Micro Center (see my recently-posted thread) is 15.6". This one from CostCo is 14". (I thought they were the same, but with different amounts of RAM and SSD space. Nope...)

this seems like a fantastic deal - am i missing something here? is the ram upgradeable? (future proof purposes)

Do these still have the hinge issues? I had an older model and hinge cracked. Lenovo denied warranty as did Costco saying they go off Lenovos decision. It's fine sitting on a desk so it just stays there permanently now.

It's tough to keep up, prices just seem to keep getting better. This seems ok. There was a Lenovo for $624 that had DDR4x and a WQXGA screen. It was a little smaller at 13.3" but 16:10 is bigger than 16:9 at a given diagonal. I think that was a better deal, but it expired.

Here is a link to that deal. LINK Note they incorrectly say it has a QHD screen (2560x1440) when really it is WQXGA (2560x1600) which is 16:10 which I'd personally prefer.
