Welcome to the official SD Coca-Cola.com/offers / Formerly My Coke Rewards Discussion Thread, proud to talk rewards since 2006! (We often discuss Coke promotions, (texting games, sweepstakes, etc.), which use Coke/MCR/codes or membership info to signup.)

The promotions continue:

Check the +one app for promos

Site: https://us.coca-cola.com/plusone

Scroll to the 2nd Wiki for Coke AMOE links!

A toast to My Coke Rewards, the Greatest Rewards Program in History! Applause

Coca-Cola.com Offers FAQ, (Formerly My Coke Rewards [MCR]):

- How may I contact them?- When does the promotion end?

There is no specific end date for the program.

- Inactivity

Each particular Coke promotion may have its own activity clause.

- Participating Products:
Barq's, Coke, Coke Zero, Dasani, Diet Coke, Fanta, Fresca, Mellow Yellow, Minute Maid Lemonade, Pibb, Sprite, Seagram's, Tab. (Powerade & Zero & Minute Maid Juices in the big black caps no longer have UTC codes.)

- Values:
Point values per code are no more, All codes are equal value, but check promotion. Check packaging for a MyCokeRewards Label! Not all Coke packages have the MCR logo, (i.e. 6-pack w/glass bottles).
However, in Coke's Give Program to schools, codes still have different values to school donations, see wiki below!

- List of Accepted MCR Letter & Number Code Characters & Character Substition

There are 25 total characters, (letters or numbers only), that are accepted in 14-character MCR codes, (out of 36 available, A-Z, and 1-0). Five of the characters may also be input as substitutions for other similar-looking characters. Either upper- or lower-case letters are accepted. The available characters are:

Letters: B F H J K L M N P R T V W X (No C D E G* I O* Q S* U* Y Z)
Numbers: 4 5 6 7 9 0 (No 1 2 3 8*)

* The five accepted substitute characters for similar-looking characters:
  • B = 8
  • V = U
  • 5 = S
  • 6 = G
  • 0 = O (Zero, '0', is the officially accepted character according to MCR error messages; letter 'O' is the substitute.)

- Where do you find all the codes?
Here are a few ways...
- drink soda
- participate/lurk on this board
- ask friends/family/neighbors/co-workers to save
- dumpster diving
- jumping out of cars upon seeing flaps on the side of the road
- referring a friend on the site
- ask Maids to save for those who travel
- ask recycling centers to save
- purchase on eBay
- sporting events, zoos, parks, etc
- make trades
- become buddies with vending machine stockers
- become the vending machine stocker

Great job. I entered about 40 caps to get the last school I could over $11 lol. IDK how I did caps for points on the catalog back in day looking back now! I use flashlights and did things to make it easy, years later my fingers still hurt!

I have a friend that has idk what looks like 1000 caps no flaps that said I can have them and nicely took them, emailed school faculty and their FB page asking if parents would take them, no reply. laugh out loud

Wow that's ARV is awful imho! Cash option please! Or at least some lower tier prizes. If it got called off someone will get stuck in a new tax bracket for nothing!

Reminds me of the Studio contest, I keep earning grand prize entries and have not used one! (9,800 to $16,000 ARVs, no thanks.nod

Do you have the url saved? If so can you send it to me in a PM? TIA. Peace
Years ago I wrote out cap codes in paper notebook and would enter codes at coke during lunch etc. … when I found code mistakes I would have to go thru 100's (1,000's?) of caps to find cap again to correct it and enter it …. But it was good back at the start .. sooooo much stuff and free movies for years … *sigh*

Thanks

Iagree For years entering 40 Caps in my account each week was an effort and when my wife asked me to enter the Caps for her account it became double the effort.

Flaps were the Best - But Caps were easier to gather . . . .

I have a family member, retired now but he was a manager at a recycling facility and he would get the guys to throw promo caps and flaps in big box when they came through, that is what later got me into C0KE contests was the 2004 Mountain Dew Cap Points Promotion. I won an original Xbox, Xbox LIVE Starter kits(been gaming since age 3 Atari 2600 still own!) jackets, shirts, a nice CD player and bunch of stuff!

Then I started with MCR and it's promos/catalog later. I entered codes for the whole household for the catalog/contests, found this site/thread from another site, started as lurker then joined to comment. I'm keeping a few of each "type"(pun intended) product caps/flaps that have been used as I keep win slips/used Gift Cards from various wins over the years.

It has definitely changed, the last few years. Sip/Scan which I guess got axed too as I haven't seen that in promo lately, now it is QR scans, lol.

Anyway I'm going to keep going with what C0KE has to offer, however the method but it is the end of an era I will miss and there is aspects I have already been missing(catalog, Flock To Unlock and etc).

Made some friends here, some friends that have passed on we all knew or some that maybe just left the site but thanks to Jimmy and everyone that keeps posting. And I welcome new SD members as I have seen some names I'm not familiar with but am happy to converse with. nodhugheart

Keep it going, keep the win posts coming! ApplausenodPeace

Thanks everyone for the kind comments. It was a thrill! The stadium is huge when you get out to the mound . . .

They asked me for a couple sentences max for the bio, words they said as I was "warming up". I told them I was in the stands for both World Series Game 7 wins in 1987 and 1991.

They haven't offered me a 1099 for the win, but I think it's under $600. Seats were around $75 and the jersey was $115, and the pitch, priceless! laugh out loud

Yes that's me in the pic I posted about to plunk the pitch! laugh out loud No autographs, please! I won't be called up to the majors anytime soon.

If you want to win a contest like this, go to your local grocer / baseball partner. See if they've got anything going on. The earlier in the season, the better, but watch those store shelves for the promotions.

Or, contact the team themselves, game operations, or check their websites for info on how to do this kind of thing. Ten years ago I got to raise a "Twins Territory" flag, next to the U.S. flag where they get a veteran to do it. Someone submitted my name because I'm a volunteer for a business association. If you're a volunteer anywhere, I mean anywhere, apply!

That's a good win for sure as we were all worried something happened to jimmy. Won a pair of Red Sox tickets in 2019 during that killer summer promo and Helloworld wouldn't honor them even with screenshot and winning email. They were decent tickets at $250 each.

FWIW I never received a 1099 for my Wild Zamboni experience win from Coke either and that was 4 custom authentic jerseys, 4 lower bowl tickets and the zamboni ride. Probably close to $1,500 in stuff.

I'm getting something Thursday from SOUTHAVEN, MS thought it "may be" a C0KE win, weighs 7.3 pounds via FedEx. I have not ordered anything or won anything that I know of and I'm thinking it maybe the COCA-COLA "RECIPE FOR MAGIC SWEEPSTAKES"(https://us.coca-cola.com/legal/recipe-for-magic) Fourth Prize six-pack of personalized Coca-Cola bottles and a USD$150 Sponsor-Specified gift card. The ARV is USD$200 each.

I will update if it is. C0KE store stuff came from ATL, GA though so not really sure. It has been a month since I did the claim(5-6-23).

Update: Possibly "False Alarm". A family member in the household made an "earlier than usual" monthly product order via insurance a week+ back & I didn't/know about it. LMAOlaugh out loud Applause

I never received a 1099 for the $3300 my wife won in 2022. In looking over the faxed paperwork my wife signed at the time of accepting the prize, the value was mentioned and in bold type and it said that we may or may not receive a 1099. I'm assuming that legally covers them if they get lazy. Which they did.

ChrisB who posts contests or did had a problem last year I believe or year before last & another time getting a 1099 sent out.

I won $2K about 4 years ago via a C0KE sponsored Publix regional contest posted by Chase75. Took 2 months of constant emailing to get it sorted out. I definitely worked for it! Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)vomitMad
