Just a heads up, if you currently earn FR points from a grocery loyalty program (which are generally more lucrative than this), there have been all sorts of issues when you try to link a second account like speedperks.

Plain and Simple, does not work. Tried enabling texts, tried at least 15 different times. Says the invalid card number. added "427XXXXXXX" where X's represent my 10 digit phone number. Nothing works. Logged out of Adv Auto website, enabled texts, logged out of FR website, logged back in, etc etc. Nothing works.

So it sounds like if we opt-in, we'll be converting our Speed Perks to Fuel Rewards, and no longer able to use Speed Perks for $$/off purchases at Advance? If so, I'll likely just forego this option, as I regularly use Speed Perks, but don't typically buy fuel from Shell.

Thanks OP. Used 427xxxxxxxxxx where x is phone number associated with SpeedPerks and the bonus $0.25 savings was added. $0.40 savings on next fill up. Will still be a toss up if this $0.40 makes Shell as cheap or cheaper than Costo for premium fuel. Thank you!
