From my estimation (300m people, 33% shell station US population coverage, 90% of houses have cars, 25% of tmobile users use T-Mobile Tuesdays = 7.5m users, average weekly fill-up among all users is 7 gallons... wild wild estimations) at 10c it cost TMobile around $270m each year. Now it's only going to cost them $135m.
The only thing i hate about T-Mobile is that they sugarcoat their obvious NEGATIVE changes to popular programs. With shell it's "oh it's 10c because we are giving you 5c plus unlimited gold status". Hey genius, even if you don't have gold you get 3c off. We regular users already have gold. So for gold users we lose 5c on this change. For regular non gold users, we lose 3c.
When they changed Tmobile money 4% requirements from being $200 in deposits to 10 debit card transactions they sugarcoated it all like "oh we are making it easier, just use your debit card 10 times". Bitch, doing a $200 monthly transfer is so much more easier than 10 debit card transactions.

Right now, the Shells near me have refused to drop their price the past couple of months and are 60c higher than a nearby Mobil, so none of it is enticing to me at the moment.
Edit - I was able to get my Speed Perks number from a live chat session on the AAP website. In my case it had nothing to do with my phone number - it was a sixteen digit number that I then pasted (successfully) onto the Fuel Rewards page (with no leading 427). Interestingly, after linking the Sped Perks account with Fuel Rewards, it -does- display the ten digit phone number as my account number at Fuel Rewards.

Grocery Rewards (points) are transferred to Fuel Rewards at 5¢/gal increments for every 100 points you redeem.
Edited to say that someone else in this thread pointed out that their Grocery Rewards stopped transferring to Fuel Rewards a few months ago. I don't shop at Winn Dixie often nor do I guy gas at Shell often, so I can't say the last time it worked for me. Definitely did sometime in 2021, but not sure when specifically.
