I don't trust Citi merchant offers anymore. I enrolled in an offer of $20 statement credit for $200+ purchase at Bestbuy. I made the purchase but never got the credit. I called customer service multiple times but they had no clue this offer existed. A week later, I got a mail asking me to send proof of the offer that I was referring to. I replied by mail with a printed screenshot of the enrolled offer but never heard back nor received the $20 credit.

While I didn't have issue with the BB offer, had the same issue with AT&T. The credits are YMMV and if it doesn't happen, do not try their CS because they are a group of clueless Asians who do not have any idea about these offers and was asking what merchant offers and that there was no such offer. So CS doesn't know what these offers are.

It's been over 5 years since I used Uber. Anyone knows the minimum ride cost? I'm thinking about pulling the Bloomingdale $25 Vemo/Paypal offer from December where I went to get a bar of chocolate for $3 and made $22 per account. Can I just order a ride for a block or two?

I had the AT&T offer added last month which you had to have a new unlimited plan. I figured the charge coming from a new AT&T unlimited plan would look indistinguishable from all other AT&T plan charge. I prepaid my AT&T bill at the minimum required on my existing plan, and Citi gave me $100. The Target $10 worked as it should, and I didn't have problem with Mobil gas $5 credit.

Also, the credit seems to be permanent. I had to return one item in the Target purchase so the actual purchase went below $50. The only thing I can think of is Citi does not know which purchase had the return that resulted in order not meeting the spending requirement. I had two other purchases from Target which had plenty of over charge to cover for the returned item.

Sounds shady. Amex seems better in terms of these credit back deals.

Is this for certain Citi credit cards? I don't see this offer on my Citi Double Cash.
I'm wondering this as well. I have PremierPass, and clicking on OP's link after signing into my account gives "Error: We are having trouble loading your offers. Please try again later."

When I go to my home page and go to offers from there, I only have a lame $100 bonus for opening a checking account + jumping through a dozen other hoops...pass.

There is also an offer on Uber Eats in merchant offers - "Earn $10 back on a purchase of $25 or more."

I have the old school Citi Dividend card. I only learned about this Bonus offer last month. I really missed out on a lot of deals. It's nice to have gasoline deals from Citi Offers and Chase Freedom offers when none of the credit card is offering the 5% cash back on gasoline category.

I have no idea how Citi and Chase are doing this. I'm pretty sure they lose money for the valid transactions. Last month I spent $60 and got $100 back, so I made $40 outright.

The cheapest Uber ride I see is $8.85 (for going to the house next door). I think $8.85 goes quite a few block, probably almost a mile. Unfortunately this is too much trouble to make that $1.15.
