Using GameStop PUR $5 certificates on digital currency was a popular slick deal, turning a $15 membership into a $45 profit.
Effective immediately, $5 monthly reward certificates are no longer applicable to digital currency. I just tried to use it in store and was told it no longer works and I have linked a post from someone posting the internal memo.
Hopefully this PSA can save people some gas or rile up some protests from customers to change their policy.

Correct
Yes. I used $15 from my redeemed rewards and $5 from my monthly PUR totaling to $20.

Regardless though, still a bummer.
Why even bring it up if you're not going to share? 😂
Me too until I realized you can use this one gift cards 😂
Why even comment at all if that's the case? 😃🥴
Same, I would have just saved the $10 tho if I would have knew. But at least I didn't lose
