I got the pro 3 GPS watch a while ago for about $180 from the ticwatch website. Overall, it's great watch.

I do have some complaints though. My biggest complaint is Google Assistant-- it's very broken. It's usable, but there are a lot of bugs. For example, sometimes Google will try to show you results from the web, and it'll say here are some results, but there will be nothing on screen. Also, it sometimes tries to show you pictures, but the screen is empty in that case as well. sending messages via Google Assistant also doesn't work. I believe making phone calls does not work either. Receiving phone calls works fine though. Playing music also does not work. One of the most frustrating things that does not work is starting navigation from your watch. You can ask Google Assistant to navigate home or navigate to the grocery store or whatever and it'll say "sure, navigating to...", but navigation won't actually start-- it'll just show you a blank screen. It seems that the only way to start navigation from your watch is to open the maps app and try to find your destination by panning on screen, dropping a pin and navigating like that. It's very frustrating and defeats the whole purpose of having a GPS smartwatch. A lot of these issues have been reported on Google issues tracker, if you'd like to take a look at them.

Having said all this, I still like the watch. It's apparently the first Wear OS whose battery lasts more than like a day. I'm getting about 3-4 days from 100% to 0%. This is because of the more efficient Snapdragon 4100 and the dual display with the energy efficient panel. Also because of the newest Snapdragon chipset and increased RAM, it's one of the first Wear OS smart watches that isn't laggy and doesn't have performance issues.

Apparently, this is one of the few smart watches that will be upgraded to Wear OS 3. This is apparently the best version of Wear OS. It was developed by Google in partnership with Samsung. It'll happen sometime in the middle of 2022. My guess is that Google hasn't put a lot of effort into fixing the Google Assistant problems because they know it'll be fixed in the newest version of Wear OS. It's still pretty shitty of Google to not bother fixing these problems.

One final complaint I have with this watch is the lack of wireless charging and the use of a proprietary charger connection. They're pretty inexpensive on Amazon in case you want to have more than one charger, but it's pretty annoying to have to have a whole different set of connectors to worry about.
