Unless you need the shank, for beater bits this is a better deal. It's also on sale. You get multiple smaller bits, which are the ones that break the most.

True, but you don't git the big 1/2" bit, and these aren't impact rated. So get both. Smilie

Anyone familiar with the warranty on these. I mean, besides reading it (which I've copied here in its entirety):

"Warranty: This product is a consumable item. Therefore, it is warranted against defective parts and labor only and not from misuse or deterioration of the product through normal wear and tear."

I have this bit set. Can confirm it's a beater, but it sure as hell gets the job done.

Drilled a lot of holes in stucco/wood/plastic and a leather belt (don't judge me) and it's got no signs of wear and tear.

Even if it did, for $8 it got the job done. Not sure what else you'd really expect from these.

Ah yes, the chemical we all know for its usefulness... "Black Oxide"... A compound formed from the surface passivation of elemental "Black"...

I purchased this a few weeks ago. I burned through half the set in one day. I would recommend paying a little extra for a more durable set.

No system, you just put them in the chuck and tighten so these will work.
