Understood. My reasoning is for spatial audio on the Apple TV. I have three Apple TV's throughout the house, and these integrate nicely with them. We have a newborn, so it's difficult to enjoy movies using my soundbar at the moment. If it were strictly for music listening, I'd buy something else

I would probably wait for ultra wide band to get implemented. The AirPods Pro 2 is rumored to be getting them late 2022.

Haven't seen too much about UWB in headphones. Seems like it's only useful in geolocation. Haven't seen it used for providing more bandwidth for sound. Also, I have a pair of airpod pros. Looking for a more robust sound

Check for open box. Had one locally down to $365, bought it but it was stilled tied to previous owners iCloud. They swamped it out for new in box at the same price.
