Track n Field Hah, I just visualize myself as a 8 yo pounding away on a NES controller. I don't think a switch controller could handle such abuse.

Track & Field? Yup, licensed and released by Centuri and the origin of the "pencil trick" where you could put an eraser between the two buttons and rock the pencil on top so it made quick contact with both buttons to hit peak performance in the game. They had to redesign the buttons with an outer sleeve to stop the cheating.

Yes, Track and Field was an arcade game....three buttons (for each of P1 and P2) with half-circle button guards on the two outer buttons.

Originally an Arcade Game. (with a kiss from the buxom blonde at the end)

Your "Donkey Kong" reminds me of the vastly improved homebrew version made for the Atari 2600:

Never heard of the pencil trick, but I used circular motions with the NES Max controller for T&F hammer throws! laugh out loud

Yeah, not a fan of the Atari versions or most other ported versions. I think NES maybe the closest port.

The original arcade version is ones that I enjoy playing. Actually I believe the original arcade version is available on the Nintendo Switch.

Can't blame a company for trying to make a buck off of something they made 30-40 years ago. But if a classic car is considered 25 years old, it seems like these classic bundles should start including more 90s games. I get if there is licensing issues for games like TMNT, The Simpsons, X-Men, etc. But hoarding (newer) Castlevania, Metal Gear Solid, Contra, etc. makes these classic bundles not really that interesting to younger audiences - and I'm not even young. I honestly haven't heard of most of the games on this list.
