I keep ordering candles from Walmart, and they keep doing a horrible job at picking, so 4 shipments of candles now, all broken except 2. I buy multiple candles at a time, and they'll just throw them in the box, with 1 sheet of bubble wrap. 1 of the boxes was a replacement, and they did the same thing, just 1 sheet of bubble wrap. Bought candles from Amazon, and they were all packaged neatly and safely, not 1 single broken candle in the lot. Its almost not worth it to order fragile stuff from Walmart, the employees just don't care.

I keep ordering candles from Walmart, and they keep doing a horrible job at picking, so 4 shipments of candles now, all broken except 2. I buy multiple candles at a time, and they'll just throw them in the box, with 1 sheet of bubble wrap. 1 of the boxes was a replacement, and they did the same thing, just 1 sheet of bubble wrap. Bought candles from Amazon, and they were all packaged neatly and safely, not 1 single broken candle in the lot. Its almost not worth it to order fragile stuff from Walmart, the employees just don't care.

Walmart has good online customer service though, and they will refund you in a chat.

IMHO walmart changed how they ship candles in the last couple of months or so as my first order from them resulted in half the candles breaking but since then I've had more than eight separate deliveries of Campbell's with nothing broken. Of course now I have too many damn candles because of all these slick deals 😂 if you are looking for a '70s den/library vibe the leathered Amber and warm rustic woods would probably fit the bill.

Yes the same thing happened to me — not only with glass items but with liquids as well. They just toss laundry detergent and other liquids into a box and it ends up breaking or opening and spilling all over everything else in the order.

Looks like a good deal — thanks. Unfortunately all of the 17 ounce candles are for pick up only —so for those of us who don't live anywhere near a Walmart the 17 oz candles are off the table. Also the first two items listed seem to be the exact same product in different packages — am I missing something

I have also been a victim of their poor candle packing, i kept the wax and dropped it in the replacements after they were used up, so no complaints here

Same, they sent with kfc fire log, which shattered the candle, and 1 sheet wrap which was not inflated. At least got refund and was able to use broken candle for few days.

Just recieved two of the warm spring sunshine candles today (the ones with the wood tops). They were individually carefully wrapped and packaged in that waffle style cardboard wrap and arrived in good shape. The scent is... not subtle, even before lighting them.

Hopefully these don't have the same problems as the better homes and gardens aromatherapy products... https://arstechnica.com/science/2...-to-blame/
