I had been looking to downgrade from my 20-year old larger Weber grill to something smaller and more mobile, so I started watching the price on this grill last fall (including setting up a deal alert here). I was hoping there would be some deals on it around Christmas, but no luck. This is the first time I've seen it cheaper than $325, so I just ordered one.

Very tempting. Can it be connected to a regular propane tank?
If you plan to use this on the go as the name "traveler" suggest wouldn't a heavy propane tank defeat that purpose, no. But if you live in a small apt and want to to use it as double duty, then I guess that makes sense.

This is a great portable grill, especially for camping if you have the space in the car. I paid full price last time we went camping. It fits in my SUV trunk nicely. While the top isn't as "dome" as the Q, it gets heated up very quickly. To me it's very suitable for quick cooks than roasting etc. especially when camping. I have other grills at home for slow cooks.
At $250 it's no brainer. It's a solid, high quality portable grill.
Thanks. Pepperidge Farm remembers when you could find basic stats from retailers and manufacturers, and didn't have to Google a bunch of third party stuff
Especially at this price point, and with Weber and Amazon's reputations, I do expect a little more than the bare minimum.
I purchased this and a Propane hose attachment. It's great! The height is fine You won't be throwing a roast on the grill but it's great for everything else. And it being portable is pretty amazing. I wish there were 2 zones but it's not a deal-breaker
Just a tip, camping grills like this and the Q are often gifted and resold on FB marketplace cheap ( people buy them for camping or balcony use and don't want to move them ). I got my Q for free when someone left it in my apartment trash room to give away.
I buy local so I will look for a deal and failing that will order one from Best Buy. I was a Sears Roebuck man and my pappi was a Montgomery Ward man himself so we believe in loyalty to a man and a myth and a legend like J.C. Penney.
You guys have been great. I will be here all week!

Be careful with what you purchase, there has been recalls recently for the lines rupturing and being a fire / explosion hazard.
Also squirrels love to chew them.
.. first hand problems
You can get other cheaper adapter if you want. I got this for my Q way back in 2008

Nope. Last year Costco had a deal on it, hoping it comes back this spring.
