For ground coffee Maxwell house isn't the worst. I find that McCafe or Dunkin ground is a pretty good happy medium between taste and bang for your buck. Don't let anyone shame you into drinking or not drinking a particular brand.

Or people who enjoy the taste of coffee. It's no different than you eating a certaing food because you enjoy it more than others.

I rarely, rarely ever leave comments. But, this coffee is terrible. And, this is coming from somebody who has no problem buying Amazon coffee.

I'm not a coffee drinker, but Maxwell and Folgers both do pretty well.

I guess hipsters have to spend $8 per cup, per day, or it's not "good" coffee.

I tried using Maxwell House when my beloved Yuban was out of stock. I needed to use 3 T MH grounds instead of my usual 2 T of Yuban. Otherwise, it was ok. (Also, I had to drop caffeine and got some chicory, which when added to any coffee grounds, it gives it a kick in flavor. I use 1:1 ratio.). This is a great price for a large coffee tub.

MC cafe medium roast is fantastic for ice brew as well. It's so fruity it's delicious.

But coffee like this isn't something you use in a pour over. This is for batch making in an office or home with a drip machine and Maxwell does fine. I'd actually avoid Starbucks preground. It's usually burnt tasting IMO. Dunkin can be a bit strong (MC cafe too). So if your first batch is a little strong don't be afraid to use less.

So if anyone's talking how much this sucks, this isn't for you. This is for when you need a ton of coffee for a ton of people.

I am willing to give it a try! if not good I will dump into flower bed as pesticide.

BTW I am semi-heavy coffer drinker who relies mostly on employer-provided-free-and-sux-coffee so have had few choice in the coffee into my mouth.

Yeah McCafe is a good one. If you have an Aldi around their German roast at $0.30/oz is also a great deal. Coffee is like ramen... it's a commodity that you really get what you pay for.

I didn't say anything about coffee, just that it sells well.
Guess you need to be a coffee drinker to understand sales.
