Not for 4K, though..

I'm big on physical media too, but $5 for 4K digital is about as good a deal as digital will get, especially for films that 1) won't get as watched as often, and 2) aren't worth the disc upgrade over the blu-ray.

Solid list, OP.

"The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance" is a classic B&W John Ford Western, starring Lee Marvin as the bad guy, and John Wayne and James Stuart as the protagonists, taking the road to "good guy" very differently. It's a seminal story about the frontier changing as it ceases to be the frontier, and how those changes leave people behind, together with a tale about how doing the right thing can come at a harsh cost. One of the characters, not whom you would expect, is tragic. IMHO it is one of the top ten Westerns, and I watched fair number as a kid on broadcast TV - the good, the bad, and the meh.

A lot of really good choices... I have a hard time paying five bucks for digital only though. I have to really like one otherwise I look for bluray with digital for usually about the same price.

These are 4k, not bluray quality which is what is included usually with those discs.

For many HD purchases on iTunes/TV App you will receive the 4K version upgraded for free. However some studios have blocked this for certain titles and if the movie was removed and redistributed under a different publisher you would unfortunately need to purchase it again. There's a master google doc sheet somewhere but the easiest way is if you have an apple tv 4K try playing on there and see if it plays the 4K version.

Damn, I want the original Spider-Man trilogy but the second one isn't that price. Only the 1st and 3rd. So strange. Wonder why that is.

Because it's far and away the best, and because they should GIVE you $5 to take the 3rd.

Don't spread misinformation by saying, "MOST," titles.

MANY titles in HD sets will redeem 4K, but ONLY via iTunes, and lots more will not (at least, not yet).
