This thing I just bought… can it be used for inside car panels? I need to replace a seatbelt in the back of my van.
That doesn't at-all mean you're out-of-luck, very likely push-fit retainers can be replaced with similar diameter clips from the big set, and would hold even better.
In my experience push-fit retainer clips are used exclusively for cost-savings, I can't imagine them offering any improvement beyond "easy to yank out by hand." My $0.02
