I bought it from Amazon. Less than $10

I searched my order history and the description is:
SANWA GT-8F 4/8 Way Restrictor Plate Gate JLF Series Joystick

Easy...5 minutes....Take off the bottom panel (6 or 8 screws) and switch out the plate....easy peasey.

While I have two of these units, the good thing is I don't need two 'pucks'. Both got paired to the same puck so that is convenient.
Thanks! I had a gate lying around but it didn't fit, I'll see if I can order this one (or one intended for a Sanwa) and see if it does the trick.

Anyone having problems with the USB port on the control deck?
NVM I'm an idiot. I eventually realized that I was supposed to use the blue USB port on the part that attaches to the TV. All good now.

Whenever possible, I highly recommend going USB connection from the control deck to the core. Most - but not all - latency issues are resolved with that. Since there's only one USB port on the core, that means no multiplayer on a USB connected controller, and no USB stick to bring your own games.

This is a roundabout way of saying you should get a USB hub for this. If so, I highly recommend a POWERED USB hub. I tried a non-powered hub, and it just didn't work right — sometimes the core wouldn't recognize my controller, other times it wouldn't read my thumb drive.

I have two different cores (one for a bunch of games at my bar for 2-4 player games with my Legends Pro + Xbox controllers, and a second for my Legends Mini on a vertical display for old-style arcade games meant to be played like that). Both have USB hubs from Best Buy for about $20. One was a clearance item, the other was a newer one on sale. Real game changer and a must have in my opinion.

I also disagree ...The Legends Family Controllers are very sturdy and feel &play like real arcade controllers.
But the Mini does have a little wobble due to the rubber feet unevenly placed on bottom. But this can be remedied with extra rubber feet.
(Also they only come with 30 day warranty, or 90 days thru Sams Club.)

These Legends products are really the coolest budget arcade devices for older gamers 25 years and up. It saves us at least $150 to start playing arcade/console games with authenticity.

For someone like you who needs better, check out other options, like:
Microcenter Atari Ultimate Arcade Fightstick >>https://www.microcenter.com/produ...erry-pi-3b

or even better:
Xarcade >> https://shop.xgaming.com/collecti...-joysticks
(but that will cost you $150 more, with trackball and 2 sticks and a life time warranty. And you will require another device to play games, android console, PC, rasberry pi, et, which will run you another $150+. )

So you can either spend $49 here or $150+ to $250+ for alternative options.

$119 here shipped, but $39.81 pickup, nice. Not quite ready to buy a membership for one but it's not bad!

$49.81 here, ordered for pickup, then got a cancellation notice 90 minutes later.
Will try in-store tomorrow, I guess.
