Coming from an IPS that has nice colors but really bothered my eyes. I bought this a week ago

Was worried about the curve, worried about the VA panel but upon getting this, WOW! Best monitor I have ever had, amazing darks, super colors and the curve is awesome! After a few days you do not even know it is curved

Will never go back to a flat panel!

Yes, it is a VA panel but it's one of the better ones. I have this and the colors are great for a VA.

S3220dgf is better and is occasionally the same price.

Is it better to buy at BestBuy or Dell directly? Are the warranties or return process significantly different?

Unless there is a crazy price difference on something, NEVER buy from Dell directly if you can avoid it lol. Im sure some people get orders just fine, but if something goes wrong they are incredibly hard to work with. Dell is probably the worse consumer PC company to buy from right now (although this monitor is actually very solid, I own it and its great value).

Best Buy is much easier to speak to, they have a very good Chat Window, and also they'll even price match websites if the site is credible, has it in stock, and you can confirm its the same model number. You just need to speak with a Best Buy rep via chat window/over the phone when you want to purchase the item and they'll take care of it

I have the S3220dgf I think it is. The older brother to this. Great monitor. If the one I have is any indication I'd recommend this to most people. We use it for games and my daily driver for work I have no complaints either way.
Same here and I echo the sentiments.

Got it black Friday a little over a year ago and use it for Xbox and work. Love it. Not great for watching hdr content (movies etc) but great for gaming.

I just bought this monitor yesterday, at the same price. 4% CB is available if you look around. Somehow the monitor is already scheduled for delivery tomorrow, so I guess I have to make room for it on my desk tonight. I'll follow up with my opinion/impressions after I set it up.

Yes and no. Really depends on your use case. I looked into both models extensively before selecting the S3222 over the S3220. The S3222 is better for gaming in general. The S3220 definitely has some advantages though, like the built-in USB-C hub. Based on all the reviews I've read, they're both great options.

EDIT: for those wondering, aside from the USB hub, the 3220 includes HDR while the 3222 does not, and it also has slightly better viewing angles. The 3222 has better response time, higher average brightness and better black uniformity (although this can differ from unit to unit). My understanding is that the HDR implementation on the 3220 (and many similar models) isn't very good, and probably shouldn't be your deciding factor. Details on the differences here [rtings.com]

Can anyone recommend a monitor from Dell's website that would be great for photo & video editing without breaking the bank? (under like $350)

Thank you kindly in advance for any help.
Dell S2721QS, should be in your price bracket.

Besides for a business, I've never purchased directly from Dell — but I wouldn't have had an issue if I needed to do so.

I just wanted to purchase from Best Buy because I had about 1/3 of the cost covered with rewards certs that were burning a hole in my pocket.

It may also be easier for someone to buy from Best Buy if their local one has it in stock, and even better if it's on display to look at before purchase. I'm at least 45 minutes from a Best Buy, but I did see that the couple I frequent most did have it in stock…so, might be worth a look.

I bought this monitor Just this December and I like it a lot. I use it for work and occasional Netflix and I had no problems. It also has an audio out jack but sound was pretty weak.

Got this around Christmas. $330 with $50 gift card and 12% from a website. Over all the monitor is great. Don't even notice the curve anymore. Would definitely recommended.

I got the s2721dgf for $280 from Best Buy, since I used a PayPal discount. I have 2 more days in my return window. Do I stick with what I got(27 inch) or do I move to this deal (32 inch)? 🤔 I will use the monitor as a daily driver and for CoD Warzone. Thanks for your advice.

Bought this from BB on around the holidays. Same price. Nice monitor but it's VA panel so don't expect great color fidelity. Good for gaming. Viewing angle isn't so great so you have to be looking straight at it, but then it's curved anyway. Has anyone attempted to calibrate it?
> but it's VA panel so don't expect great color fidelity

Why do you believe this? VA as a panel type has the best contrast range, and solid color reproduction for individual use compared with IPS (collaboration) and TN (only good for extreme refresh).

Can someone with an Xbox Series S or X confirm that 1440P 120hz with freesync works with this? Neither of my 32" 1440P monitors do it via HDMI with my Xbox. No problems with multiple PCs with the same cable and port.

I have to fully 100% disagree.. I've dealt with their costumer service pretty extensively and I'm talking into the hours... No issues and everyone was really cool.

Dead serious.. everyone was nice as hell to me and went out of their way to help me with try to get things solved.

I returned a G15 that was not working right and had thermals extremely high. It was escalated up to a manager in Texas. The guy was very patient and wanting to get things sorted out so I was happy. He would even ask how my family was doing and how my day was. Like great customer service.. to the extent it was the best experience I had overall from any company. Really nice guy!

Then my new Alienware isn't working with any of my photo editing programs. The guy spends 2.5 hours on the phone with me as we trouble shoot.. talking to me like a normal dude the whole time he's sitting in Costa Rica WFH trying to help. It ends up being Alienware Command Center has a bug that conflicts with photo images. He's already checked back twice since Monday to see how the tech teams suggestions are working. Also just a really nice guy . he's 59 lives alone and really misses his son he never hears from back in California.

I usually don't write posts this long on here ever, but wanted to give some context to my reply. Sometimes you get another nice human being to talk to that wants to help you out.

Have a good day!
