Just the GPU, whatever gold you already have on the account will just convert unless you reach the limit of how far you can extend (3 years). So for example if you have 1 month gold left and buy 2 years that 1 month will convert along with the 2 years of gold you added. But if you try to use 3 years of gold it might not let you add the 3rd year because it would put you over the 3 year limit with the extra month you already have. Hope this makes sense.
At which point you can use a VPN set for Turkey to sign up for GPU monthly for the $15 and that should convert all your Gold to GPU?
You only need the VPN when you are going to redeem the gold subscriptions to your account.
