was thinking of upgrading to the air 2s , but with the litchi upgrade, thinking of going back to the mini 2.
or that 300 can go towards the air 2s ............decisions decisions..............

The smaller size should not be overlooked on just how much it effects traveling with.
the Air2 S makes that decision far harder than comparing against a regular Air 2.

6miles range vs 4 miles.
Way smaller.
Way lighter.
Tad longer flight time, 30min vs 27min.
Only sole negative is a just a tad slower, 36mph vs 40mph.
The remote is larger which some don't like, but I like you don't need to take your phone out of it's case to use it.
Now to answer your question directly. While it is an upgrade, it's mostly quality of life improvements. If you are fine with the Mavic Pros size and don't need slightly higher bitrate video then I wouldn't spend the money switching to the Mini 2... UNLESS, you can sell the Mavic Pro to cover most of the cost.
