I'm pretty sure that device can be swapped once activated and the plan itself costs around $40 on sale. I have similar set up for my kid as emergency while he's in school. Doesn't spoil them with unlimited data and not fancy enough to play games or show off so he can stay focused on learning lol.

No longer same policies as before since Tracfone sold all their brands to Verizon Nov 23.
It might be OK but I don't know if Verizon has put a time limit on the old TF bundle activations.
I personally don't recommend waiting that long, HSN only has 30 day return if there's a problem.

Yes, remove the sim card and you can poweron/use.

it's LTE
Motorola (& Samsung) phones have most bands & yes after unlock it will work on GSM.
Search model number it will list which network bands are available.

My Tracfone (XT2052DL) is still showing unlockable on its 12th month only 26 days remaining of 1 year 1500 all plan. Had a chat with rep who said i need to complete 12 months to request unlock. Not sure if it will get unlocked even if i continue on lowest plan for next 1 month.

Anyone got this Tracfone (XT2052DL) unlocked?

Their new unlock policy took effect November of 2021. Phones activated prior to that required 12 months of service, and phones after that only required 60 days.

If you only have 26 days left in your 1 year plan, it means you activated your phone/plan June of 2021. AFAIK they don't make exceptions.
