It means you're held hostage till they either cancel the order or ship it laugh out loud. Had one back in March cancelled and they gave a $50 coupon code.

Op could have kept this to himself and probably snuck under the radar and got it shipped. Instead he collectively made HP $5M today and approximately $20K in interest in holding all of our money hostage for the next week and a half while they figure out how to batch cancel these. And for those reasons I'm in.
