HP always charges your credit card first, way before they ship.
IF HP decides to cancel your order due to "price mistake", they technically cannot do that, b/c they have already charged your card.
Many members are reporting their confirmation email show a much higher price. You should immediately put in credit card dispute. Then file BBB and FTC complaints.
DO NOT BUY ANY HP LAPTOP WITH A LONG SHIP DATE.
THEY WILL CHARGE YOUR CARD TODAY, AND WILL NOT LET YOU CANCEL.
IF YOU RETURN IT, YOU WILL GET HIT WITH 15% RESTOCKING FEE.

I've spent way too much on mining rigs and really can't afford more, but I still bought a few. I hope this deal gets canceled because I really can't afford it.
With your desktop 1060 is your monitor 1080p? Then the 1060 is still fine. How big is your desktop monitor? Going from 27" to a 17" could suck for you.
This is a great deal and the 3070 is much better than your old 1060. It is up to you if you have $900 with nothing better to do with it and play games that much and will control do so for the next few years.
Worst case, don't open it and sell it on Craigslist and make a few $100.

I placed an order but forgot to use my military discount, so I placed a second order w/discount and cancelled the first. Anyway, I just got an email stating that my cancellation was outside of the cancellation window (5 mins?) and they are shipping both orders.
This might be a legit deal where we'll actually get product for once (in my case, one too many). I guess I can flip one and make a few bucks...
