Yes, Tfzba is cheap (see many horrible reviews) but it is not just the Alexa integration. Govee's are RGBIC. These are not. Govee has music reactivity built in, whereas Tfzba do not (only via your phone). And so many more things.
So if you like 'em big and dumb, (which I am sure is great for certain applications, don't get me wrong), the Tfzba might be for you. But they are only comparable to the Govee in that they both emit light, lol.
Good deal. I own this exact model to light up a high ledge in our 4 season sun room. Looks amazing, and the app has a ton of flexibility. It's also hooked in with our Alexa for daily on/off control with other lights in the room. Only real downside for some people might be that it's not (without some work) SmartThings compatible, but I haven't really cared much about delving into that yet.
The 33ft option has a deal too, but $5 off bring it down to $35.

I just bought what looks to be an identical one from Amazon just 3 days ago, but it was $12.99 and it was 50ft (three 16.4' rolls). Take a look around on Amazon and you'll find plenty of other deals on these
Yours Probably is not RGBIC , nor Alexa controllable or control colors/scenes from phone.

Likely not the RGBIC version though. It's never been that low. Whole different ballgame.

You're right, not Alexa controllable, just via a phone app. It's more basic, but not bad for $12.99 for 50ft for those who don't need Alexa compatibility. Here's the link to it if anyone is interested: Tfzba Led Strip Lights 50 Feet... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0895MQ...b_ap_share[amazon.com]

Govee's are great, I have our bedroom set up with colored bulbs on the night stands and one of these strips around the underside of the bed frame. I also have them lighting the top of our cabinets in the kitchen, and they work well there. I did another project with an old ikea lamp and a light strip in my daughters room and she loves it.
It's great to have a reliable cheaper company for this. I love hue, but the price on their light strips and colored blubs is outrageous, so I stick to the white/yellow ambient light for most of my overhead lighting with hue.
You can make cool projects like this cheap and easy with these strips. All you need is a long lamp with a good diffusion material. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t2tjwYlxf7E
edit: If you want to do a project like the above with Govee, but simpler, just cut a pvc pipe to the right length and then wrap it with the stripped bottom to top. You'll end up with all of the cool running effects going bottom to top on your lamp!

The Tfzba lights do react to sound/music without the app (I haven't bothered downloading an app). Just tested em. As for the "horrible" reviews, it has a 4.5 out of 5 (from 4000+ reviews), vs 4.7 on the Govee with less than half the reviews. Might they give out in a month? Sure, that's possible. But for $12.99 I'm not gonna lose sleep over it

I've bought several LED light strips over the last couple of years. The problem with Govee is that the gap between each LED is much larger than the other brands, as in less LEDs per foot. I will be looking elsewhere.
Not at all. I have only one RGBIC from them. I'm just pointing out that the cheap devices being compared here actually cannot be compared to this device: RGB ≠ RGBIC. Apples:oranges if that makes it simpler. If it works for you, great, but that's not what this offer is about.
For all those confused...
RGBIC (IC means Independent Control) lights can control the color and brightness of the individual LED
Like this HEX light I made with this Govee strip: https://imgur.com/gallery/tLKZcF5
The RGB lighs you see being much cheaper can only display one color at a one level of brightness at a time.
If a pre-made light advertises it can be cut to length, it is only a basic RGB light no IC.

I installed 2 sets of these for use as under-cabinet lighting in my kitchen. The 2 sets can be easily linked and operated together via Alexa. I don't mess with the colors much, but they look great.

Sad when the ignorant get to feel a semblance of power with the down-votes instead of learning and moving on
