"8 Year Durability" per specs
Maybe about 3 years or so...i don't recommend it but I've used paste that's been sitting for 3yrs or so with no issues.
Ya. That sounds about right. I have a build planned in a few months. I'll grab a tube. It's one of the best!

I did a build about 2 months ago.
Have this exact thermal paste purchased during 2019.
I did order another one for the build to compare. Did two pea size comparison. new one bought in 2021 definitely better. Older one can work, but texture is a little different from 2+ years of sitting in a draw.

Thank you. This is very helpful! I noticed the 8 g is on sale for $8.90 but it says right on the label "2019 Edition." So I don't think I'll get that, lol.
If you don't mind me asking, what specs are you looking to get? Also, i use mx4, kpx, kryonaut, gelid extreme and another i can't recall. Kpx on my 3960x, kryonaut on my gpus and currently using gelid on my 5950x.
I don't spread it...i use the pea method on my am4 platform and like a 5 star method on my threadripper.
Lol oops !! did cost a sell there on 8g ? 😂
Like I said it can work. But imo not worth the few dollars to redo whole thing again later on with newer paste.
Better off just do the new fresh batch and forget about it for 2-3 years.
Buy thermal paste when you need it, don't buy it because a slickdeal !
