Personal experience: play this with friends and siblings. Do NOT play this with your spouse.
If you do, look forward to screaming "how obvious is it that car means auto? Jesus, woman what is wrong with your brain, get out of my house! Candycane? It isn't even one word! And it sure as hell doesn't mean 'lottery,' what misbegotten..." etcetera.

โฆOver here wondering what it'd be like to play games alone with just my wife. Would be harder to conceal the alcohol intake that usually accompanies my game nights with groups. I have such a hard time with games where there's not a winner and a loser but a we-all-win or everyone loses. Still, this would be a good grab for Saturday nights where we don't have plans with others and I want to rack up some points for our weekly Sunday morning plans. ๐๐. We ALL WIN!! #repped

If you are like me, you've been conditioned your whole life that the only games worth playing are ones where you can (must) be a winner. As I've gotten older and played more games with friends I started to realize it's not the winning that I loved, it was the time together playing. These types of games do just that, they allow you to do something together (other than letting your brain rot watching yet another streaming series) where there isn't the pressure to win at all cost.
