read the article (thanks for this btw). Assuming you don't require top-tier for gaming, why would you not use a dram-less, save money, and still get samsung's 5yr warranty? just trying to understand the pushback

Who cares if it's already on samsung's site? I see lots of SD's where folks are sharing alternate vendor deals, so why not let someone contribute a similar deal via Amazon? Especially when many of us hold business accounts there….

It's the "regular price." There is nothing exceptional about the regular price item to boot. There are many competing products for less.
