Premium Steel Core Cable: 50' x 1/2" (15.24m x 13mm) steel core cable adopted by our electric drain auger does not rust, corrode, or tangle. Compared with air core cable, our solid core one has higher toughness, which can easily go through multiple crooked pipes to clear away the blockages. The switch is to change the direction of the cable's own rotation (not movement direction).
Professional Tool for Drain Cleaning: Ideal for 1"-4"/25-100 mm pipe. This drain cleaner machine enjoys a good reputation for its robust performance. It is capable of carrying out heavy work and can clean long sections of sewers. Widely used in sinks, toilets, and floor drains. Once you own this machine, you can clean the pipes by yourself, rather than paying several hundred bucks to call in a plumber.
Air-Activated Foot Control: Motor Power: 250W 5.3A; Motor Speed: 1700 RPM. Equipped with an air-activated foot switch, this sewer machine helps you control the cable with fewer efforts, making the cleaning process cleaner and more effective. Unlike cleaning pipes with powder, our sewer snake does not harm the surroundings. Thus, it tends to be a perfect choice for long-term use.
Four Shapes of Cutters: Prepare to be dazzled by 4 different shapes of cutters: Arrow Cutter, Spade Cutter, C-Cutter, Boring Bulb Cutter. The quick-change design makes the cutters easily connected or disconnected. Multiple attachments contribute a lot to clear away various blockages. Suggestion: C-Cutter fits straight pipes of 1.2"-4"/30-100mm diameter, while Boring Bulb Cutter is perfect for draining curved lines of 2"-4"/50-100mm.
Security and Durability: Built-in GFCI (ground fault circuit interrupter) attached to this electric drain snake avoids electrical shock, ensuring your security. Fully-enclosed cable drum keeps the machine clean during prolonged use. A portable handle is beneficial to easy transport. A small tool tray/hook designed on the frame plays a unique role in convenient storage and tool change.

Most homeowners use these so rarely you are better off just renting a good one from a hardware store. It will probably also end up being cheaper.
Reading more recent reviews. A lot of issues with the motor not working or welds not holding. I was thinking of taking gamble on this, but reviews have made me think twice.
Just ordered one from Walmart - same price but can be delivered on 20th.

I looked at this last year (for a bit more) and almost got it but just went for the Rigid K-400 for about $450(on sale), instead. After calling around for quotes I figured I'd go for one of the best entry-level Pro models since it'd pay for itself after 1-2 uses (am in Seattle).

That said, this could definitely be worthwhile at this price and given the overall body of reviews/ratings, if you're willing to take a little risk and/or don't have the funds for something else.

Truth be told, my plunger, 6' Rigid toilet auger, and 25' Ryobi snake handle just about all the crap I throw at it...or throw it at Wink

Standard plumbing visit to your house to deploy this is $250-$350. If you are an able person and prone to plugging your pipes, this is a good deal.

Also good for tree roots in the downspout lines. Only one place rents them locally and it's broken most of the time. I had similar (probably from the same factory in China) units in my eBay watchlist at around $200. At this price and from Amazon I ordered. Thanks OP!

This is definitely a low price for this listing: https://keepa.com/#!product/1-B0775LG28W

Don't get this. This one doesn't seems to have auto feed. So it doesn't push the line forward/backward. You have to do it yourself, which is a tough job and not for everyone. If you have some Harbour freight coupon, they have one around $350.

You're talking about 2x or more this price. If you know how to use a snake, this is a good deal for light homeowner use. The one I paid $40 for 4 hours to rent from the hardware store was similar, and I had no trouble clearing all 50 feet of downspout lines clogged with tree roots.

We own one, no idea why though. It was my parents and seemed like a waste to throw it away when cleaning out their garage. Haven't used it once in 20 years. I think I agree, I would just rent one if you need one.

i agree. i got the harbor freight with auto feed like 5 years and its paid for it self many times over. i've used it at least once a year. i can only imagine if i had to feed it myself, no way! worth the extra money. figure the HF auto feed is $350, use it once and you've broke even, a second time and you've made your money back and more.

Good deal and not a plumber, but imagine 50ft is prob overkill for most homes. Worx has a 25ft with 2ah battery which at least you get a battery to use in between the rare occasions a homeowner would need to use this, for reasonable cost.

I have the Ryobi 25ft and it's saved my ass a few times. Most recently a kitchen drain clog that was pretty far into the main line, that stopped my washer from draining. (old house, pipes are done weird). But I highly recommend the cordless ones for the average person.
I agree, that it's a great deal though for what this is.
