Target actually has quite a few LOL toys at half price. The Slickdeals app and website will not let me post anything since right before the new year (the program stops and sends an error report-- Whomp. Whomp.) But, they are there! You might want to check them out! Multi-packs of the small dolls and an OMG 2 pack. Great buys!

So burnt out. Every figure, cartoon drawing, and stuffed animal is portrait-ed as a toddler. Seeing 27 year old men that clearly have internalized an infantile self image. About 15 years ago I saw a Japanese story about late 20, 30, and 40 year old men that still lived with their mom and wore diapers all day. About 5 years later I realized it was starting to happen here.

It's not healthy. I don't think this stuff is even healthy for kids anymore. There's just waay too much of it.

The product description says ages 4-15. 15? No you shouldn't have this at 15. You shouldn't have this at 12. I'm surprised the age didn't say 4-65. lol. They wouldn't write that though. Would cop out and say ages 4+.

The colorways and design languages aren't for boys. These may by unisexual (but clearly with a feminine bent).

I don't believe these LOL dolls are designed for boys any more than Ken dolls are Barbies for boys. Not that they couldn't, or shouldn't play with them, but I presume many more girls will be playing with these than boys.

edit: That said, the anatomically correct part makes me shy away from giving these to my kids or friends' kids.

Nevermind the anatomically correct parts, these particular LOL toys are totally junk. You CANNOT get the cool robot suit parts to stay on. They are more for coverings to hide the little dude inside that's it. I was so bummed by the quality I convinced my little girl that they weren't worth keeping. I actually returned to the store. These toys are routinely pretty cheap and loads of plastic waste. The camper van they put out is an especially awful toy and I love toys.
