I have a lot of cats. I usually buy 4 or more boxes every couple of weeks. It comes to $67 buying 4 of the $16 boxes. This deal goes to $75.45 then you add the coupon and it's $55. It aint much, but it's a deal!

Do a *slow* switch to pine pellets. The smell is almost nonexistent and it's a lot cheaper. I pay $6 a bag and lasts 4-6 weeks for two cats
Not very good litter.

Clump & Seal is the only way to go when it comes to A&H.
I hear that with pine pellets the smell control is a bit better but they require more time/effort than scooping clumped pee. You need to have a sifting tray as the pellets dissolve when contacting the pine pellets. you then have to remove the waste which shows as wood dust soaked in pee. Have been considering these pellets but have not pulled the trigger

Alternatively, if you already have a Costco membership, 42lbs packages of Scoop Away clumping clay litter are 12.99 everyday.
Additional 5% off for Chewy autoship, which you can cancel anytime.

And 2% cashback from one of the usual suspects.

So what's the poop situation with pine pellets? Does it just sit there? I would assume it would get smelly without anything covering it?

I've read that kitty litter also helps with snowy/icy driveways. I haven't tried that myself, though, so not sure how true that is.

Cat litter helps tires to get grip when your car gets stuck in ice/snow. Not a bad idea to keep a small bag of cat litter in your car in the winter.

Last time when we bought Arm and Hammer cat litter, it tracked dust everywhere. (There was a rebate and I got it for free to try out.) Is this one better and not track dust everywhere?

Ahhhh ok, so it's not so much a "sprinkle all over your driveway" type of thing but more of a "if you get stuck trying to go up a hill spread it around your tires" type of thing then I guess. Thanks Smilie

Sounds like a HUGE pain--I don't want to spend just as much time cleaning the box as my cat does covering up the evidence LMAO

It works great and also is great for oil grease and gas spills. Hazmat carries clay litter.

OP here, I didn't get a coupon. After I bought it, I tried to show a friend and the deal notification was gone. I then opened it in a private window and it was back.

we kept cat litter (regular, non clumping) in the trunk our car every winter to help way it down just that little extra help for the bad weather driving,. If you get stuck and your tire spins, you can use it for emergency traction.

"When you're not stuck in the snow, the weight of cat litter in your trunk can also help improve traction by adding weight to the back end of your vehicle. Especially in trucks and cars that are front heavy, a little extra weight in the rear of your vehicle can help stabilize you, keeping you in control of your vehicle on slick roads."
This auto repair site makes 3 points about cat littler.
