Good deal. Will get to have an extra for woodworking (drill+drill bit, impact + drive bit, drill+ countersink bit).

How can these tools get so cheap? I still remember my first drill which costed me a week salary.

it's reconditioned - they'll go between a week's salary (in bangladesh) - and zero.

Bought a few of these and a few of the impact drivers at this price last time to have as beaters/loaners. Came dirty and used but all work fine for a few months now. I've used them all quite a bit.

I have this drill. Has lasted me about 6 years doing small homeowner stuff. However, motor started to burn out and spark way more recently. I bought one of the newer brushless ones and it's a world of difference. Wished I would have upgraded sooner.

TLDR: Don't get this for any kind of everyday work but good price for a smaller jobs, or Joe the casual homeowner.

Seems good, but not a ton of savings over the $30 new.

What I really need is a charger on sale.

These impacts work well and this one sure is cheap but they are very noisy and driving large screws or lags makes hearing pro necessary. I've swapped all my ryobi impacts out for the quiet strike ones and they're a definite upgrade and worth double the price of these cheap impacts

There's a $10 clearance deal at home Depot. Includes a charger, 2ah battery, and sprayer. Picked one up recently.

Wow! I'll go check for that!

The only thing I've seen locally lately is clearance on construction screws.

Do these have "RECON" or "REFURB" stamped on them?

I think this expired at 12:00 Eastern last night - I was checking out last night and the coupon was applied up until the final stage of checkout and then when I hit submit it showed the prices without the coupon and $10 shipping! I looked at the time and it was 12:00 Eastern. I replied to my order confirmation to get them to fix it or cancel it and still haven't heard back.

Also, why doesn't this thread have a "report expired" link???
