I've seen reports of this working again once the current Game Pass sub expires. I went all in and got 3 years of Live converted so did not encounter this issue.

While this conversion still works you never know when MS will put a stop to it so I would get as much as you can afford locked in.

Yeah, I already did it a couple of years ago, and my 3 years will expire in July of this year. Still not worried because I recently got a Series X on the all access thingy, so will have 2 more years added (granted, not at deal price but at one of the easiest ways to have gotten a console, and paying monthly)

This. This is what keeps me from pulling the trigger, I don't want to go thru the back and forth emails. I keep seeing the comments about getting used codes and unused as well. And for them not to be very responsive, makes it scarier.

Yeah, since the time I posted to now they JUST emailed me asking for a bunch of verification information. It is a pain and not worth the 20$ for the trouble if you ask me.
